Faris Abusharif, M.D.

Pain Management Specialist

As a practitioner of Interventional Pain Management and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (Endoscopic) my mission is to work diligently to control your pain rather than have the pain control you. A patient centered individual treatment plan is achieved through good communication and spending as much time as needed with each patient. Comprehensive and compassionate care, whether surgical or non-surgical treatment, will be delivered to exceed my patient’s expectations.

Faris Abusharif, M.D. is a native of Chicago, born and raised in the southwest suburbs. He completed undergraduate studies at DePaul University in Chicago. He received his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School. He completed 2 years of general surgery residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago. He then completed his Anesthesia residency at the University of Illinois and subsequently completed his Pain Management fellowship also at the university of Illinois. He has been practicing since 2005 and has developed an outstanding reputation among his patients and peers. He also has an academic appointment at Midwestern University Medical School.
